Læs spørgsmål og svar her:

In a bad season what was the worst?
That the offensive line never seemed to get into much of a rhythm and find a unit that worked. I blame most of that on Tannenbaum and his dogged unwillingness to write a check for Kendall. It wasn't so much that they stuck to their principles on not renegotiating the contract on an aging player, but that they didn't have a real plan on how to properly address the situation and how critical it would be to the Jets' failures this past season.

Who is your '07 MVP for the Jets?
I know that Leon Washington won the award and deservedly so, but just to be different, I will say David Harris. Harris not only succeeded in replacing one of the team's captains, but he did it to a point that we saw what a MLB in Mangini's scheme should look like.

What will happen to Vilma... does he have a future with the Jets?
As much as I respect Vilma, I am a realist. I have to imagine that the team is doing what they can to trade him this offseason, which I imagine is made more difficult while he is rehabbing. Since he's not back to full strength yet, I imagine that the team won't be able to get into serious talks until pretty close to the draft.

How about Pennington? Should the Jets try to trade him or keep him to compete with Clemens?
At this point, I think that the Jets should trade Pennington, but I still firmly believe that the poor QB play this season was more an outworking of the awful offensive line play. Sure Pennington and Clemens both didn't look great this year, but it's hard to do much when you are getting sacked on 9.3% of pass plays (ranking them 30th in the league), let alone all the pressures and knockdowns.

What would you like to see the Jets do in the offseason (draft, free agency)?
The Jets have many spots to fill, but the Jets would be wise to focus on three key positions for free agency ... in order of importance: Starting Left Guard, Starting Defensive Line and a Starting Cornerback. Finding a Guard who can start via the draft is a crapshoot, and it's clear that D'Brickashaw Ferguson suffered because the Left Guard play wasn't very solid. There are a number of solid Tackles in this year's draft so finding a guy to play Right Tackle (if they haven't already marked Jacob Bender to play that spot) wouldn't be that hard via early part of the draft or free agency. With the Jets struggling to stop the run, it's clear that they need to upgrade their line, but I'm not sure how that will work itself out.

As far as the draft, I would love to see the Jets spend an early pick on a front seven player ... specifically a replacement for Victor Hobson. A versatile edge rusher who can take on lineman could make a big difference for this team quickly. Other positions the Jets should look at during the draft are a tall, speedy wide receiver and a complementary safety to Kerry Rhodes.
