Ups... før man ved af det er der pludslig noget at skrive om igen. Jets har taget hul på deres ugelange Passing Camp og det store spørgsmål bliver nu om Pennington er klar til at slås om at blive Jets startende QB.New York Post: "According to bystanders, Pennington didn't look like a quarterback coming off an injury; he blended in with all the other quarterbacks on the roster during drills".
Newsday: "Pennington participated in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, taking snaps in live competition for the first time since his right shoulder was repaired for the second time in eight months on Oct. 6. It is not known how Pennington fared in the workouts; reporters are not permitted to watch any portion of the voluntary passing camp at Hofstra this week".
The Record: "Coach Eric Mangini said he was "pleased by the turnout," which was believed to include all players except some rookies who by NFL rule can't join the team until June".
Daily News: "That the Jets acknowledged Pennington's participation was a bit of a surprise, considering their cloak-and-dagger approach to his rehabilitation. But, in keeping with their usual policy, they didn't release any details, declining to say how much he threw".
The Star-Ledger: "Running back Curtis Martin, who had arthroscopic knee surgery in December, was among those who participated".
